Stabilisation Programme

The UPC's Stabilisation Programme aims to regulate the procedure by which the UPC generally establishes the permanent professor posts that will be the object of future calls.

Full-time employees with a temporary contract in force in the categories stated below who meet the requirements for each category may apply. For the purposes of the Stabilisation Programme, the contract is considered to be in force when the employee is in a situation other than active (leave of absence, suspension of the contract, etc.) that entails the post or position being reserved.

The requirements must be met at the time of the deadline for applications established in the corresponding call.

The Governing Council approves the list of the employees who receive a positive evaluation in the Programme, declares applicants to be eligible for stabilisation and states the level of the post that is the object of the competition (full professor/contracted full professor; associate professor).

Employees who are provisionally declared eligible for stabilisation will be declared definitively eligible for stabilisation once they have proved that they meet the requirements established in the regulations, as long as this proof is provided before the end of the contract that has made them eligible for the Stabilisation Programme in which they have been evaluated.

To be declared definitively eligible for stabilisation implies a commitment to turning the post the employee occupies into a permanent full-time post in the category determined by the University and to its provision following the procedures established by law and in the regulations.
