If you carry out more than one activity, whether as an employee or on a self-employed basis, you must complete a separate statement of professional activities for each one.
Further information
- Individuals who hold two public-sector jobs will not receive extraordinary payments or three-yearly increments as adjunct professors.
- If you hold two adjunct professor positions with Catalan public universities, you must have a third professional activity outside the field of university teaching (carried out on a self-employed basis or as an employed person).
- If you carry out two activities in the public sector, in accordance with Article 10 of Law 21/1987, of 26 November, on incompatibilities for staff working for the Administration of the Government of Catalonia (Official Gazette of the Catalan Government no. 923, of 4 December 1987), you must request authorisation of compatibility from the public administrative body for which you carry out your main activity.
- If you carry out two professional activities at the UPC (as a member of the University’s academic staff and as a member of its administrative and service staff or research support staff), these activities will be considered two public-sector jobs for all purposes. Therefore, your employment as an adjunct professor will always be considered a secondary activity with respect to the other activity you carry out.
